Hello! Yesterday or so I made a post asking the question in the title and expressed my anxieties with going to the doctor for asthma
Well today I went to the doctor and wanted to give an update!

First I wanted to thank everyone who commented, gave advice, related to my problems, shared their own stories. I appreciated every and all comments and it felt nice to be seen and understood.

I have officially decided to quit smoking. The doctor has diagnosed me with asthma, linking it more to allergies but commenting on how for my age my breathing was really bad. It sucked but hearing it made something I already knew hit harder. The doctor despite my fears was incredibly respectful and sweet, even making small talk.

Today I've got my first inhaler after years of struggling with breathing issues. I definitely need to get used to using it but I can definitely already feel it's affects as the doctor said.

Again, thank you to everyone who has encouraged me to quit for my own good and I hope at some point I can come back here with an update celebrating a milestone.

[I already decorated the hell out of my inhaler lol]
