Ex smoker, was sick last week and pretty congested, took a few days to clear up, but been coughing up darker brown mucus recently (spoiler because gross)

For context, I’m 23 and an ex smoker, I have a vape every so often when the craving is bad, and vape medical weed almost daily. Last week I had a chest cold/bout of allergy’s, and after it’s cleared I’ve been coughing up a darker brown mucus. Anything online says it could be old blood, dust, or even the weed, but just wanted to get context if anyone has seen similar
